Are the $399.50 venue retainer and $270 or $497.50 party theme add-on retainer fees refundable?
No, all retainer fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. The venue retainer secures your party date and time, while the party theme add-on retainer fee allows us to purchase the materials required to create your party theme.
Can I have a smaller private party with less than 14 kids?
Yes, the private party package is designed for up to 14 kids. If you have fewer than 14 kids, the package price remains the same.
Guests and Confirmations

How many adults and children can I invite?
You can invite up to 100 guests (children and adults) for all parties.
Do adults and non-walking children count towards the guest limit?
Adults and non-walking children are free and do not count towards the party guest limit.
When do I need to confirm the number of children attending?
For Classic Private Parties, confirm the number of children and any additional food orders no later than 5 business days before the party. For parties with a Kouture Party Theme Add-on, confirmation is required 14 days before the party date.
Food and Decorations

Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, outside food and drinks are allowed but must be approved by management at least 5 days before the party date. No cooking on-site, chafing dishes or open flames are permitted.
Can I bring my own cake and decorations?
Yes, you are responsible for providing your cake, cake cutter, candles, lighter, and paper goods for adult guests. However, we do not allow balloons, balloon garlands, piñatas, confetti, or any taped-on or tacked-on wall decorations. Themed tablecloths, plates, and napkins are allowed. For balloons, arrangements can be made at an additional cost through The Balloon Fairy @ Kidz Kastle.
Party Time and Extra Charges

How long is the party duration?
A Classic Private Birthday Party or Weekday Classic Private Birthday Party is 2 hours long. A Private Playdate is 1 hour and 15 minutes long. Additional time cannot be added to a Private Playdate.
Can I add extra time to my party?
Extra time can be added at an additional cost and must be arranged in advance. (depending on our party schedule we may approve extra time the day of the party, but it is best to request it in advance)
What if my party runs over the scheduled time?
A $125 fee per additional 20 minutes will be charged if your party exceeds the scheduled time.
Arrival and Setup

When can I arrive to set up for my party?
Host parents can arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before the scheduled party time for setup. We allow 10 minutes for set up. During this time, children are not permitted to play as we clean and sanitize the play area.
Can my guests arrive early for the party?
No, early arrivals are not permitted during setup time. Guests will not be allowed to enter early.
Miscellaneous

Are socks required for the party?
Yes, all children and adults must wear socks.
Can I bring my own character?
Yes, we allow outside characters. However, we do provide certain characters through a preferred vendor. Advance approval is required.
What if there is inclement weather on the party date?
In the event of inclement weather, we will contact you within 48 hours of the scheduled party time to reschedule. There will be no loss of the retainer fee.
Should I tip my party hosts?
Yes, tipping your party hosts is encouraged as they work hard to ensure your party runs smoothly from start to finish and handle the entire cleanup.
